Day 3 13.01.21:

Update exercise 2:

After the feedback from our previous exercise, we decided to formulate our values a bit more, as they were still a bit too broad and general. We wanted to get to the essence of what these terms meant to us, or at least attempted to dig a bit deeper and define what they encompass in our definition.

Human-centred
- different users with different needs and meeting them
- 24 h renting — all circumstances
- mediating user centred vs economical interest of bosch

Approachable
- for all skill levels in regards to handling tools
- quality tools for less money
- safety for everyone — safe use of tools

Transparency
- price- payment methods, tariffs / rental costs overview
- procedure — what does bosch do
- required actions — what does the user need to do to rent/bring back
- consequences — broken, lost items

Shift of social perspective
- make sharing more trendy/widespread in society
- mindful with resources
- Quality over Quantity
- make the most of it

Inclusive
- for non-digital natives — the older generation
- readability — colour contrast, font size
- limit the use of jargon — explanation

Inspiring
- encouraging to start making, repairing
- taking the fear from tools and making/doing something wrong

Scalability
- network of boxes also applicable for other use-cases (private)
